Stockton Lake Guide Service has been taking anglers out since 2005, backed by experience fishing this lake since the 1980s. From helping a novice cast to fishing with an experienced tournament angler, your day is built around enjoying the lake.
You’ll fish from a 2025 Nitro Z20, a 20-foot boat with a 250-horsepower motor, Humminbird electronics, Garmin LiveScope, and a Minn Kota Ultrex trolling motor.
Come for walleye, crappie, or catfish. Bring your family, a friend, or a business guest for time together on the water.
Meet at the dock, your hotel, or the guide’s house. Arrange your meeting point when booking. Trips are offered seven days a week. Morning trips begin at sunup; your guide confirms the exact start time.
Rods, reels, bait, lures, and life vests are provided. You’re welcome to bring your favorite rod. Bring sunscreen and discuss properly fitting life vests for children.
Your fish will be cleaned and packaged after the trip. The posted trip price includes fuel and equipment, with no additional fuel surcharge.

Get out on the lake — reserve your trip →The crappie are still on brush piles in 18–20 feet of water. Fish right above the brush piles. The bite is awesome—you can’t beat it!
The white bass are still coming up in the evenings. Look for flats, and please make sure you bring a sharp knife!
Catfish are on the flats. Slow-drift fresh shad out of the lake, letting it drift across the bottom in 10–20 feet of water, and you’ll load them up.
Walleye are starting to make their fall move. A few are getting caught on points and humps, and up around the old pond dam.
It’s supposed to get cooler, which means this fishing report may mean nothing by Friday! All I can say is get out there and give it a shot. I’ll update it when I can. Thanks, and keep them lines tight!
